At Century Air, we are watching the progress of all our valued customers as they advance through the private pilot program. Although most students learn to fly in the Cessna 172, Robert has chosen to complete all his training in the Cirrus SR-20, which he is considering purchasing in the future. The Cirrus is a Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) providing highly advanced instrumentation and capabilities – but the stick and rudder skills are still paramount to becoming a proficient pilot! We are proud to announce that Christopher Machado was awarded 1st Place in the nation for his essay on How to Finance a Career in Aviation. Christopher is currently a student pilot at Century Air, and is expected to graduate the Private Pilot program within the next month. He began training in October 2009 and accomplished his first solo in January 2010, when he was just 16 years old.
