Congratulations, Walid Khallaf for your most recent achievements – landing a First Officer position with Egypt Air, and also passing your ATP check ride with Century Air!
Walid enrolled in Century Air’s Professional Pilot Program in 2010 (starting with zero hours) and in only four years he has met his goal of flying the Airbus A-320 with Egypt Air. He now has over 2000 hours and is flying routes all over the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Walid holds dual citizenship in Egypt and the USA, so he had many career path options to choose from. The position with Egypt Air will give him a great opportunity to gain valuable airline experience, and he is enjoying every minute of it!
When asked about his training experience with Century Air, Walid said “being a student of Century Air was a great experience. The school offers a great learning environment and very professional instructors”. After completing his commercial pilot certificate, Walid went on to earn all his instructor ratings – CFI, CFII and MEI and began working for Century Air. During his 18 months of instructing he also earned an impressive Gold Seal from the FAA (for high student pass rates). Walid continued to say “most importantly, I learned excellent “real world” flying skills. Now, as a professional pilot I really appreciate what I have learned and I realize the value of what I have gained from choosing Century Air right from the beginning.”
