In 2009, at the young age of 18, Marwan Omaira, came from Egypt on an M-1 Visa to attend professional flight training at Century Air. He received his private pilot certificate and instrument rating in one year, and then returned to Egypt. Marwan came back to Century Air last fall, and completed his professional training, achieving his commercial pilot certificate on December 18th. He has done a great job, and should be very proud of his accomplishments. He has also completed the ATP FAA Written Exam and is once again returning to his homeland – this time to apply for a job with Egypt Air. Marwan said “good-bye” to some of the friends he made while training (seen here: Josh, Susana, Marwan, Ahmed and Abhishek).
